Gyasar

Gyasar

The Gyasar is a khinkhwab style of brocade traditionally woven with large heraldic, monastic and mythical motifs, typically used in Tibetan ceremonial costumes and ritualistic hangings. Woven by twisting multiple gold zari threads as a single twine on thick satin, at Warp ‘n Weft we create a modern Gyasar in a mosaic of textures and contrasting burst of colours with an element of European floral chinoiserie. The Gyasar is often used for luxe home furnishings and tapestries as well.
