AADA - OBLIQUE HARMONY
The Aada is like a stream of many rivers flowing across a canvas of rich silk in a harmonious play of longitudinal, traversal and oblique stripes in either a Kadhiyal or Kadhwa weave. It culminates in the romantic teardrop shaped paisley buta or the Koniya, a much-loved motif that arrived with the Persian and Mughal influence in our design history.
